Making a lap around the lake is a nice walk that isn’t too long and can provide a nice variety of shots. Of course there are classic landscape shots that include the fountain and taking photos of various birds that will eagerly approach you, but there’s been another scene I’ve been drawn to recently.

My wife and I like to check out local markets and food truck events occasionally, and this is where I have been putting the 23mm to work.

When do you choose to shoot in black and white? Do you ever? The past couple of weeks I’ve been making an effort to try out shooting/editing in black and white, and I think I’m starting to understand when I like it.

As an Orlando native, I drive through the downtown area fairly often. However, since picking up photography recently it feels like I get to be a tourist in my own city again. Another friend of mine shoots on Fuji, so we decided to do a few early morning photo walks near his apartment building.
